Remotion

Remotion is a virtual office that facilitates casual conversations through
coworking rooms and shared music. It was a macOS application that allowed
users to pin their teammates to the dock, providing background awareness
of each other's activities.
We led product design in the Core Experience team, tasked with implementing
focused enhancements to the product's core experience. Working alongside
five engineers, our collective aim was to boost user retention and encourage
word-of-mouth promotion of Remotion.

to keep families organized and prepared, all in one place.
Our responsibilities included enhancing all aspects of the
product, including the web app, iOS app, and the design system.
Trustworthy posed challenges in system-level problem-solving,
given that many features and components were distributed
across various platforms.

Touchpoint Interaction Design Conference is a part of Simon Fraser
University and the School of Interactive Art and Technology. Touchpoint
is ran annually with each year having its own visual identity for
their website.
We were commisioned to conceptualize the year's theme and build the
website for Touchpoint 2019. Outputs include brand concept, visual identity,
motion design, and web design/development.

Series' ambition was to push forward the notion of "Personal
Computers" to mean "Personalized Computers." The logo represents
the winding path our ideas take as we follow a train of thought,
through a form that blends fluidity and oneness.
The logomark features a series of serif 'S's arranged diagonally
within a sphere. This creates a dynamic movement and a distinctive
pattern, reminiscent of unique identifiers like DNA helices or
fingerprints.

Seven is a health-focused startup building a system of products
and services that make health mastery accessible to all through
behavioral health coaching.
We led design for Seven’s digital offerings by owning the end-to-end
experience of multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional
stakeholders.
Main responsibilities include revamping the client-facing mobile app,
improvements of their internal tool, and exploring visual concepts for
their physical onboarding toolkit.

During this time, we designed logos for multiple programs and created brand guidelines
that reflect their concepts.

Nikkei Centre

The inaugural edition of the Nikkei Farmers’ Market “産地直送” was held in
the Japanese Garden at the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre in
Burnaby, British Columbia.
The organization held a logo design contest as they kick off the second
year of their farmers' market. This was our proposal for their new logo,
to symbolize the local community's togetherness and cultural celebration.
Unfortunately, the organization decided not to update their logo due to
internal reasons.
